Ingredients
0.5 cup chopped walnuts
1 lb fresh green beans , trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces
2.5 tbsp Butter, unsalted , melted
1 fresh lemons , juiced and zested
1 pinch salt , to taste
1 pinch black pepper , to taste
0.25 cup cold water


Directions
1 Preheat oven to 375°F.
2 On baking sheet, arrange nuts in single layer and toast until lightly browned, approximately 5 - 10 minutes.
3 In steamer, bring water to boil, add green beans and cover.
4 Steam 8 - 10 minutes, or until tender.
5 Place cooked beans in large bowl, toss with butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
6 Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7 Transfer beans to serving dish, sprinkle with toasted walnuts, and serve.
