1 Preheat broiler. 2 Arrange onion, tomatoes, and garlic on a foil lined baking sheet. Broil for 20 minutes or until skin is black, mix frequently. Squeeze pulp out of garlic cloves and throw away skin. 3 Using a food processor or blender, puree onions, tomatoes, garlic, vinegar, lime juice, water, oil, oregano, pepper, salt, and chiles until smooth. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Additional Information
This can be easily doubled and stored in an airtight container chilled for up to 2 weeks.
