1 Boil 2-3 quarts of water in a large pot. 2 Add rice and boil uncovered for about 10 minutes. 3 Drain the rice into a colander. 4 After adding the oil to wok and heated to smoking, add onion and stir-fry for 1 minute. 5 Add rice and stir-fry for 3 minutes 6 Add salt and pepper for desired flavor.
