1 Preheat 1/2-quart saucepan over medium heat for 1 minute. 2 Swirl oil in the bottom of the pan and add the onions, green peppers, and celery. Cook over medium heat stirring frequently. 3 Combine the tomato sauce, water, cornstarch, cayenne pepper, and salt in a separate bowl and stir until smooth. 4 Add tomato sauce to vegetables. Cook and stir until sauce is clear. 5 Add shrimp and heat to serving temperature. 6 Stir in chopped onion tops and serve.
Additional Information
Serve over brown rice to soak up the delicious sauce.
