1 Combine yeast and warm water and let sit 5 minutes. 2 Add in sugar, margarine, eggs, and mashed potatoes. 3 Add in 5 1/2 cups all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, and salt to form a soft dough. 4 Knead in the rest of the flour to form a smooth dough. 5 Knead dough until elastic, about 5 minutes. 6 Lay dough in a greased bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place 1 to 1 1/2 hours, dough should be doubled in size. Punch down dough. 7 Separate dough into 2 even portions and form into loaves. 8 Lay loaves in 2 greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pans. Let rise, covered, 45 minutes or until doubled in size. 9 Coat tops of loaves with milk. 10 Bake bread at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. 11 Let cool before serving.
