Ingredients
2.5 lb Pork, shoulder, whole, lean, raw
1 pinch salt and pepper
2 tbsp Mustard, dijon, creamy, Dijonnaise, squeeze bottle
14.5 oz Sauerkraut, low sodium, canned , rinsed and drained
2 tsp caraway seeds
1 cup Beer (regular or non alcoholic)


Directions
1 Remove fat from meat. If necessary, cut meat to fit into a 3 1/2 or 4 quart slow cooker. Lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spread mustard blend over meat and set aside.
2 Place sauerkraut in slow cooker. Add meat. Pour beer over mixture in cooker.
3 Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours or on high heat setting for 4 to 5 hours.
4 Remove meat from cooker. If present, remove string or netting from meat. Cut meat into slices. Serve meat with sauerkraut.
Additional Information
You can find sauerkraut with caraway seeds, next to the plain sauerkraut in your canned vegetable aisle.
