Directions
1 Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
2 Lightly spray a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
3 In a large bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and poppy seeds.
4 In a separate bowl mix the eggs and buttermilk with an electric mixer until well mixed, add honey while mixing.
5 Pour wet ingredients over dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
6 Spoon into loaf pan and bake until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 70-80 minutes.
7 Remove pan and cool for 10 minutes, then remove bread from pan and cool completely.
Additional Information
Instead of poppy seeds you can use flaxseeds or sesame seeds.
