Ingredients
0.5 cup liquid egg substitute
1.25 cup Flour, whole wheat, whole grain
18 tbsp fat free milk (1cup plus 2 tbsp)
1 tbsp Margarine, 80% fat , melted
3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese


Directions
1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2 Coat 8 custard cups or popover-pan cups with cooking spray.
3 Whisk the egg substitute in a medum bowl. Add the flour, milk and margarine, and whisk until the ingredients are combined.
4 Stir in the cheese.
5 Divide the batter evenly in the prepared cups. Place the cups on a large baking sheet.
6 Bake for 30 minutes, or until popovers are puffed and golden.
7 Serve hot.
Additional Information
For variety, instead of Parmesan cheese, try freshly grated Romano or Asiago cheese.
