Ingredients
0.5 cup pineapple orange juice
1 cup cold water
0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
0.25 tsp ground mace
0.75 cup couscous
0.25 cup canned pineapple chunks, drained
2 cup fresh lemon juice
0.25 medium avocadoes , peeled, pitted, and chopped
3 tbsp whole almonds , chopped, and toasted


Directions
1 Heat pineapple-orange juice, cinnamon, and mace in a 1-quart saucepan to boiling.
2 Add couscous, cover, and remove from heat.
3 Let stand for 5 minutes.
4 Add pineapple chunks.
5 Pour the salad into a serving bowl.
6 Top with banana slices.
7 Sprinkle salad with lemon juice.
8 Top with avocado and almonds.
Additional Information
This salad can be served warm or cold.
