1 Cut off any excess fat from steak. 2 Massage pepper, garlic, and salt onto surface of steak. 3 Pour oil into a frying pan and heat over medium heat. 4 Lay steak in pan and cook 6 minutes per side or until preferred degree of doneness. 5 Baste steak with vinegar while cooking. 6 When ready to serve, slice steak into thin pieces and top with lemon juice.
Additional Information
Balsamic vinegar and lemon juice help tenderize this less-tender cut of beef and add flavor. After cooking, slice the steak immediately across the grain into thin strips.
