1 Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray. 2 Mix together all-purpose and wheat flour, Romano cheese, baking powder, and black pepper. 3 Whisk in water and oil and continue mixing until a dough forms. 4 Flip dough onto a floured surface and knead 4 to 5 times. 5 Split dough into 18 even pieces and form each piece into an 8-inch long stick. 6 Arrange sticks on prepared baking sheet. 7 Bake 10 minutes or until golden. 8 Let cool on a wire rack.
Additional Information
These can be baked up to 2 days in advance. Cool completely, and store at room temperature.
