Servings
Ingredients
8 Pears, fresh, small , peeled with stem intact
0.25 cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup red wine , dry red wine
2 Tea, herbal, raspberry, bags , prepare 1/2 cup strong tea
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, granulated
2 medium garlic cloves , whole, up to 3 cloves
1 oz sugar free raspberry flavored gelatin (dry mix)
2 tbsp cold water
1 cinnamon sticks (for garnish)
1 tbsp Syrup, chocolate, lite (sugar-free, for garnish)

Directions
1 Brush pears with lemon juice.
2 Combine wine, tea, vanilla, sugar substitute and cloves in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
3 Add whole pears, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Carefully remove pears with a slotted spoon and set aside.
4 Mix sugar free jello with water and add to the syrup in the saucepan. Bring to a boil.
5 As soon as the syrup starts to thicken, add the pears once again. Lower heat and gently turn the pears with a wooden spoon until they develop a dark, rich color.
6 Place the pears in a container, cover with syrup and refrigerate. You can slice a small piece from the bottom of the pears to help them stand nicely.
7 Plate Garnish: 1 cinnamon stick, sugar-free chocolate syrup.
Additional Information
