Ingredients
10 floz red wine , dry variety
7 whole cloves
1 cinnamon sticks
6 tbsp fresh lemon juice , from 2 lemons
1 cup SPLENDAŽ No Calorie Sweetener, granulated
4 medium pears , unpeeled (Bosc pears)


Directions
1 Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
2 Put the wine, cloves, cinnamon, lemon juice, and Splenda in a 9-inch square baking pan and mix until the Splenda dissolves. Add the pears and place in the oven to bake for 1 1/2 hours. Coat the pears with the wine every 10 minutes.
3 Take out of the oven and let sit to cool before serving.


Additional Information
Pears are done when they look brown and slightly wrinkled.
