1 Cream butter and sugar. Stir in flour, oats, nuts, salt and soda until crumbly. Press 2/3 of crumb mixture into a 9- x 13- x 2-inch pan. 2 Combine pears, mincemeat, lemon juice, and grated lemon peel; spread over crumb crust. Top with remaining crumb mixture; pat lightly. 3 Bake in preheated 375 degree F oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until crust is golden. Cool on wire rack.
