Directions

1 HEAT oven to 375 degrees F. Coat 8 x 8-inch baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.
2 COMBINE flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Add oil and egg. Mix with fork to make fine crumbs. Reserve 1/2 cup of mixture for topping. Press remaining crumbs into bottom of prepared pan. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until surface is dry. Mix 1/2 cup reserved crumbs and 1 tablespoon peanut butter with fork until evenly moistened.
3 SPREAD 1/2 cup peanut butter gently over partially baked crust, letting heat from bars soften peanut butter. Spread preserves over peanut butter. Sprinkle with peanut butter crumbs. Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until center is set. Cool. Cut into bars.
