1 cooking spray
0.5 cup Crackers, soda, crushed , about 16 crackers
0.33 cup grated Parmesan cheese
0.5 tsp ground basil leaves
0.5 tsp dried marjoram
0.5 tsp paprika
0.5 tsp salt , optional
0.25 cup black pepper
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 eggs
2 tbsp margarine , or butter
1 medium garlic cloves , minced


Directions
1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
2 Mix the soda cracker crumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, marjoram, paprika, salt (optional), and pepper in a food processor or blender and process to make fine crumbs. Place in a shallow bowl.
3 Cut each chicken breast into 4 strips.
4 Beat egg in a small shallow bowl.
5 Dip chicken strips first in the egg, then in the crumb mixture, turning to coat evenly.
6 In a small microwave-safe bowl, microwave the butter and garlic on High for 45 seconds or until melted.
7 Brush butter mixture onto chicken strips.
8 Place chicken on baking sheet and bake until no longer pink in the middle, about 15 minutes.
Additional Information
If you choose to use the 1/2 teaspoon of salt the sodium will increase to 674mg.
