Servings
Ingredients
1 medium red bell peppers , sliced
1 chopped green bell peppers , sliced
1 large onion , sliced
1 tbsp margarine
2 tbsp white all purpose flour
1 tbsp paprika, sweet, Hungarian
0.5 tsp salt
0.25 tsp black pepper
8 oz tomato sauce, low sodium
0.5 cup low sodium vegetable broth
0.5 cup white wine (or low sodium vegetable broth)
0.5 cup fat free sour cream


Directions
1 Sauté bell peppers and onion in margarine over medium heat 10 to 15 minutes.
2 Whisk in flour, paprika, salt, and pepper and cook 3 to 5 minutes, mixing often.
3 Mix in tomato sauce, broth, and wine and bring to a boil.
4 Lower heat and simmer 5 to 7 minutes.
5 Mix in sour cream.
Additional Information
Use hot or sweet paprika in this sauce, depending on what your tastes are. Serve this over any kind of pasta or rice.
