1 In large stockpot, brown meat, drain fat. 2 Add water, cinnamon, cumin, onions, Worcestershire sauce, cloves, salt (if desired), chili powder, pepper, allspice, tomato paste, bay leaves, mushrooms, and green peppers. Bring to a boil. 3 Reduce to simmer. Cook 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaves before serving.
