Ingredients
0.75 cup fat free reduced sodium chicken broth , canned
0.75 cup cold water
1.5 cup quick cooking brown rice
0.25 tsp saffron , crushed, or ground turmeric
1 pinch tabasco sauce
0.33 cup Peas, baby, frozen
1 tbsp pimentos , chopped, well drained


Directions
1 In a medium pot, bring chicken broth and water to a rapid bowl.
2 Stir in rice, saffron, Tabasco, and peas.
3 Cover and set aside for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and stir in the pimento. Serve at once.
