Servings
Ingredients
3 medium garlic cloves , crushed
2 tsp ground oregano
1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
1.5 lb top sirloin steak, lean , 1-1/4 inches thick
1 tsp olive oil
3 Potatoes, skin, fresh , each cut into 6 pieces lengthwise


Directions
1 Combine the garlic, oregano, and 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper. Press into both sides of the steak.
2 Combine the olive oil and 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper in a medium bowl. Add the potatoes and toss to coat them.
3 Place steak 3-4 inches from heat on one side of broiler pan. Arrange the potatoes on the other side. Broil 18-20 minutes (steak should be rare to medium, potatoes should be tender), turning steak and potatoes once.
4 Carve steak crosswise into slices and serve with potatoes.
