Ingredients
1 cup chopped parsley , loosely packed
3 tbsp olive oil
4 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp capers , drained
1 pinch salt (to taste)
0.12 oz tabasco sauce
2 medium garlic cloves , minced
0.75 lb Beef, top sirloin steak, lean, raw , cut 1 inch thick
1 medium onions , thinly sliced and separated into rings
1 cup Lettuce, red leaf, fresh, shredded
4 piece Bread, Italian, large slice , toasted


Directions
1 Preheat broiler.
2 For sauce, in a blender container or food processor bowl, combine parsley, olive oil, lemon juice, capers, salt, hot pepper sauce, and garlic.
3 Cover and blend or process until nearly smooth, stopping and scraping sides as necessary and set aside.
4 Trim any visible fat from meat. Place meat on the unheated rack of a broiler pan.
5 Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 15 to 17 minutes for medium rare (145 degrees F and 20 to 22 minutes for medium (160 degrees F turning once halfway through broiling.
6 Thinly slice meat. To serve, arrange onion rings and lettuce on toasted bread slices and top with meat slices. Drizzle with sauce.
