1 In 4 to 5 quart slow cooker, place turkey. Sprinkle turkey with salt (or salt substitute) and black pepper. Top with onion. 2 In small bowl, whisk cranberry juice, mustard, and cayenne pepper. Pour over turkey. 3 Cover and cook on low heat setting for 5 to 6 hours or on high heat setting for 2-1/2 to 3 hours. 4 Transfer turkey to serving platter; cover turkey with foil to keep warm. Reserve cooking liquid in slow cooker. 5 If using low heat setting, turn to high heat setting. 6 In small bowl combine cornstarch and water. Stir into liquid in cooker. 7 Cover and cook for 15 additional minutes or until thickened. Spoon sauce over turkey. Serve.
