Servings
Ingredients
1 cooking spray
1 cup fat free milk
1 cup honey
1.25 cup whole wheat flour
1.25 cup white all purpose flour
1 tbsp low sodium baking powder
0.5 tsp salt
0.25 cup Margarine, 80% fat
0.25 cup liquid egg substitute (or 1 egg)
2 egg whites , lightly beaten
0.25 cup chopped walnuts , dry-roasted (finely)

Directions
1 Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly spray two 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans with vegetable oil spray.
2 Heat the milk and honey over medium-high heat until very warm (120 degrees F to 130 degrees F) in a small saucepan.
3 Combine the whole-wheat and all-purpose flours, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
4 Stir the liquid mixture into the dry mixture until just moistened; then add the margarine, egg substitute, and egg whites. Stir just until blended.
5 Fold in the nuts; then pour the bread mixture into the prepared pans.
6 Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a cake tester inserted into the center of the loaf comes out moist but not wet; then cool on a wire rack.
