Servings
Ingredients

1 pinch salt and pepper , to taste
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 medium garlic cloves , minced
2 tbsp Flour, all purpose, white, unbleached, enriched
0.5 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tsp fresh thyme , chopped
1 tsp ground sage
1 cup canned turkey broth , preferably low sodium

Directions

1 Melt the butter in a medium saute pan over medium high heat and add the garlic. Stir and lightly brown the garlic. Add the flour and stir well.
2 Continue stirring and cooking the flour for about 2 minutes. Slowly add the turkey stock while whisking. Whisk until thoroughly combined. Sauce will be very thick.
3 Reduce heat to medium and whisk in the heavy cream and herbs. Simmer for about 3 to 5 minutes. Sauce will be thick and coat the back of a spoon. If it is too thick for your tastes you can add more turkey stock a tablespoonful at a time until the desired thickness is achieved.
