Ingredients
6 cup Cucumber, with o skin, fresh, sliced (about 2 pounds)
2 cup sliced white onion
1.5 cup distilled white vinegar
0.75 cup sugar
0.75 tsp salt
0.5 tsp mustard seed, ground
0.5 tsp celery seeds
0.5 tsp ground turmeric
0.5 tsp hot red pepper flakes
0.25 tsp black pepper , fresh ground
4 medium garlic cloves , thinly sliced


Directions
1 In large glass bowl, add 3 cups of cucumbers, topped with 1 cup of onion.
2 Layer remaining cucumbers and add remaining layer of onions.
3 In saucepan, mix vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, celery seeds, turmeric, red pepper, black pepper, and garlic.
4 Bring to boil and cook for 1 minute.
5 Ladle dressing over cucumbers. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 days.
