0.5 cup margarine , softened
1.5 cup packed light brown sugar
2 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla extract
2.5 cup white all purpose flour
1.5 tsp baking soda
0.5 tsp salt
0.33 cup fat free milk
0.75 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
0.5 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 cooking spray


Directions
1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Use nonstick cooking spray and spray cookie sheets.
2 In a large bowl beat margarine and brown sugar using electric mixer at medium speed until mixture is fluffy. Beat egg whites and vanilla into mixture.
3 In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt.
4 Add flour mixture alternately with milk to margarine mixture and end with the flour mixture,
5 Stir chocolate chips and pecans into mixture if desired.
6 Take rounded tablespoonfuls of dough and drop onto prepared cookie sheets.
7 Bake cookies for about 10 minutes or until they have become lightly browned. Remove cookies from sheet and place on wire racks to cool.
