Ingredients

1 lb large raw shrimp
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp fresh basil , chopped (or parsley or oregano)
0.5 tsp salt (optional)
0.5 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice (or lime juice)
4 tbsp margarine
0.25 cup white wine


Directions

1 Peel and clean Shrimp and butterfly.
2 Mix together all other ingredients and heat until I can't believe it's not butter is melted.
3 Marinate shrimp in butter mixture refrigerated for 1 hour.
4 Grill shrimp until just cooked, meanwhile boil butter mixture to use as a dip with the shrimp. (You must boil since raw shrimp were marinated in it).
5 You can bake or broil shrimp in the marinade as well if a grill is unavailable.
Additional Information
This recipe works great with chicken as well.
