Ingredients
1 cooking spray
2 cup frozen hash browns , with onions and peppers
1 cup fresh broccoli florets , chopped
3 oz cooked turkey bacon , crumbled or chopped
0.33 cup evaporated skim milk
2 tbsp white all purpose flour
16 oz liquid egg substitute , thawed
4 oz reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese , shredded
1 tbsp fresh basil
0.25 tsp black pepper
0.12 tsp salt


Directions
1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and then coat a 2-quart square baking dish with cooking spray.
2 Spread potatoes and broccoli evenly in bottom of prepared baking dish, and then top with turkey bacon. Set aside.
3 Gradually stir milk into flour in a medium bowl, and then stir in egg produce, half of the cheese, basil, black pepper, and salt. Pour egg mixture over vegetables.
4 Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
5 Sprinkle with remaining cheese, and then let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Additional Information
You can prepare this breakfast dish the night before, and simply preheat the oven and slip the strata in when you wake up.
