Servings
Ingredients
1 eggs
0.33 cup Bread Crumbs, plain, grated, dry
0.25 chopped green bell peppers , chopped, about 1/4 cup
2 fresh green onions , finely chopped
2 tbsp fat free milk
0.5 tsp salt
0.12 tsp black pepper
1 lb ground turkey, 7% fat, raw
2 tbsp Marmalade, orange
5 Buns, hamburger, reduced calorie , split
1 cup Lettuce, iceberg, fresh, shredded (optional)
1 small tomato , sliced (optional)
0.5 small onions , sliced (optional)

Directions
1 Combine egg, bread crumbs, green pepper, chopped green onions, milk, salt, and black pepper together in a medium mixing bowl, then add the ground turkey, mixing well. Take the mixture and shape it into five 3/4-inch-thick patties.
2 On an uncovered grill take the patties and grill them over medium coals for 14 to 18 minutes or until done (165º), turning the patties while cooking and brushing them once with orange marmalade.
3 If using a covered grill, arrange medium-hot coals around a drip pan, testing for medium heat above the pan.
4 Place the patties over the drip pan on the grill rack. Cover the patties and grill them for 20 to 24 minutes, turning the patties while cooking and brushing them once with the orange marmalade.
5 Take sandwich buns and toast them cut side down on the grill. Put the patties on the toasted buns and top with lettuce, tomato, and onion slices if you desire.
