Ingredients
0.75 cup canned whole peeled tomatoes , chopped, seeded, and peeled (or fresh tomatoes)
2 tbsp fresh basil , chopped
2 tsp white wine vinegar
2 tsp olive oil
0.25 tsp salt
0.12 tsp black pepper
0.12 tsp hot pepper sauce (to taste)
36 oz Fish, salmon, red, raw, Alaskan (6 steaks)
1 cooking spray


Directions
1 Using a food processor or blender, puree tomato, basil, vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, and hot sauce until smooth.
2 Spoon mixture into a shallow dish and lay salmon on top. Flip salmon to fully cover both sides with marinade.
3 Wrap with plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes, flipping a few times.
4 Preheat grill. Take salmon out of marinade, saving marinade.
5 Lay salmon on a cooking spray coated grill rack and cook 8 minutes per side or until salmon is flaky. While cooking, brush salmon with saved marinade.

This marinade also works great on chicken or shrimp.
