Ingredients
1.25 lb fresh green beans , trimmed
2 tsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp chopped walnuts , crushed
0.5 tsp salt
0.25 tsp ground nutmeg


Directions
1 Boil a large pot of water. Add beans to pot and cook for 5 minutes. Strain and set aside.
2 In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Mix in walnuts and cook, stirring continually, for 1 minute. Mix in beans, salt, and nutmeg and let cook for 1 minute.
Additional Information
Be sure to use fresh nutmeg for this dish. Whole nutmeg can be found in the spice aisle and can be frozen for up to 1 year.
