Ingredients
1 cooking spray
4 oz fresh mushrooms , sliced
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 pinch black pepper (to taste)
0.5 cup low sodium chicken broth (or low sodium beef broth)
1 lb fresh green beans (or frozen)
1 tbsp butter (optional)
1 pinch salt (to taste, optional)


Directions
1 Coat slow cooker with cooking spray.
2 Place beans, mushrooms, garlic, pepper, chicken broth, and salt (if desired) in prepared slow cooker. Toss well.
3 Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6 hours.
4 Transfer to serving bowl and toss with butter, if desired.
