Servings
Ingredients

6 eggs , separated (at room temperature)
1 cup almond meal (flour)
0.25 cup sugar
0.25 cup Marmalade, orange (gluten free)
2 pint fresh strawberries , washed, hulled, and halved
2 tbsp sliced almonds , crushed

Directions

1 Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2 Coat 10" removable-bottom tart pan with cooking spray.
3 In medium mixing bowl, beat egg yolks and 1 tablespoon water on high speed until thick and lemon colored, about 5 minutes. Fold almond flour into yolks.
4 In clean bowl, beat egg whites and sugar until medium peaks form, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add tablespoon of beaten whites into egg yolk mixture to loosen it and fold the remaining egg whites into mixture until just combined.
5 Pour batter into prepared tart pan. Bake until edges are golden brown, about 5 to 8 minutes.
6 Cool for 15 minutes. Remove from pan and place on cooling rack until completely cool.
7 In microwave safe bowl, warm orange marmalade until it is runny about 15 seconds. Brush half of marmalade on top of tart.
8 Plae strawberries on glaze in concentric circles, mounding them in the middle of tart.
9 Glaze strawberries and edge of tart with remaining orange marmalade glaze. Sprinkle with almonds.
