Ingredients

2 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp lime peel zest
2 medium garlic cloves , minced
0.5 tsp hot chili oil
0.25 cup hot red pepper flakes
0.5 cup red wine
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1.5 lb flank steak


Directions

1 Combine lime juice, lime zest, garlic, chili oil, vegetable oil, red pepper flakes, red wine, sugar and soy sauce in a small bowl.
2 Place steak in enameled baking pan and coat with mixture. Cover with plastic wrap, marinate at least 2 hours, turning occasionally and basting with marinade.
3 Heat grill and oil grill rack. Place grill rack 4 to 6 inches above flame.
4 Remove meat from marinade and pat with paper towel. Reserve excess marinade.
5 Place meat on grill rack and grill 10 to 12 minutes, turning and coating occasionally with excess marinade.
6 Slice thinly and diagonally. Serve.
