Servings
Ingredients
4 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
2 medium garlic cloves , minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger root , grated
2 tbsp fresh thyme , chopped and divided
1 lb extra lean top round steak

Directions
1 Combine the soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and 1 tablespoon thyme in a small bowl. Pour over steak and refrigerate in a sealed plastic bag for a minimum of 1 hour.
2 Grill steak, with lid closed, over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes per side, basting occasionally with marinade.
Additional Information
When cutting the meat, cut across the grain in thin slices; this helps tenderize the meat by breaking down its natural structure.
