Ingredients
2 cup cooked chicken breast, diced (or turkey)
8 oz sliced water chestnuts , drained and coarsely chopped
0.5 cup fresh chopped celery
0.5 cup chopped scallions
0.33 cup mayonnaise
0.25 cup sour cream
1 tbsp fresh dill weed , finely chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
0.12 tsp white pepper


Directions
1 In large bowl, toss chicken, water chestnuts, celery, almonds, and scallions.
2 In small bowl, stir mayonnaise, sour cream, dill, and white pepper until well blended.
3 Add dressing to the chicken mixture and toss. If salad seems too dry, stir in additional mayonnaise.
4 Cover and chill for at least 2 hours prior to serving.
Additional Information
Use as a filling a tomato, cantaloupe, or avocado, or serve over a bed of fresh salad greens.
