Ingredients
1 cooking spray
0.25 cup fresh chopped onion
4 medium garlic cloves , minced
2 tbsp white all purpose flour
2 tsp curry powder
0.25 tsp ground cayenne (red pepper)
2 cup low sodium vegetable broth
1 tbsp cornstarch
0.25 cup white wine , dry (or vegetable broth)
1 pinch salt
1 pinch black pepper


Directions
1 Heat a cooking spray coated pot over medium heat. Cook onion and garlic 2 to 3 minutes. Whisk in flour, curry powder, and pepper. Cook 1 minute, whisking continually.
2 Pour in broth and bring to a boil. Whisk together cornstarch and wine and pour into mixture; bring to a boil. Continue boiling until sauce is thick, 1 minute, stirring continually. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Additional Information
This sauce is great over pasta or mixed vegetables and rice.
