2 cup chicken broth
1 cup Rice, basmati, brown, California, dry , well rinsed
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 small onions , chopped
1.5 tsp curry powder
1 tbsp Raisins, seedless
0.5 cup fresh green peas
1 tbsp Nuts, hazelnuts, whole , chopped (6 hazelnuts)


Directions
1 Place the broth and rice in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, for about 40 minutes. Drain if needed.
2 Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet. Saute the onion until they become soft.
3 Mix in the curry powder, onion, raisins, and peas. Cook until heated through. Top with the nuts.
