Servings
Ingredients
1 cup cold water
0.75 tsp agar flakes (Agar powder or Agar flakes)
0.33 cup honey , or 1/2 cup turbinado sugar or granulated sugar cane juice
10 oz Tofu, extra firm, silken, light, 1" slice , regular or low-fat
0.75 cup light soy milk (or rice milk)
0.5 tbsp vanilla extract
0.25 tsp salt


Directions
1 Using a small saucepan, mix together water and agar. Stir over medium-high heat until it starts to simmer. Simmer for 3 minutes.
2 Pour into a blender with remaining ingredients; blend until very smooth. Freeze according to ice-cream maker directions. Let soften at room temperature before serving.
Additional Information
For variation, freeze in ice-cube trays or in a flat pan, Cut frozen mixture into chunks and process in a food processor just before serving.
