Servings
Ingredients
29 oz whole canned unsalted tomatoes (2 14 1/2 oz cans undrained)
1 Bouillon, beef, powdered, serving (up to 3 tsps)
2 cup fat free milk
3 tbsp cornstarch
0.12 tsp baking soda
2 tsp sugar
1 tbsp margarine (up to 2 tbsp)
1 pinch salt and pepper (to taste)


Directions
1 Process tomatoes with liquid in food processor or blender until smooth.
2 Heat tomatoes and bouillon crystals to boiling in large saucepan.
3 Combine milk and cornstarch.
4 Stir into tomato mixture, stirring until thickened, about 1 minute.
5 Add baking soda, sugar, and margarine, stirring until margarine is melted.
6 Season to taste with salt and pepper.

A soup similar to the favorite-brand canned tomato soup we all remember eating as kids!
