Directions
1 Reserving the rind, peel the orange, section it, and remove the seeds.
2 Drain the pineapple and reserve the juice.
3 In a large bowl, combine the orange sections, pineapple chunks, pear halves, and apricot halves. Set aside.
4 In a saucepan, combine the orange rind, pineapple juice, cinnamon, and cloves. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and then continue to simmer for 5 minutes before removing from the heat.
5 Strain the mixture and discard the rind and any whole spices. Pour the juice over the fruit and toss gently to coat.
6 Cover and refrigerate until chilled thoroughly.
Additional Information
This fruit makes a great breakfast or snack in between meals.
