Ingredients
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
0.5 cup salted butter , softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
0.25 tsp salt
8 oz lowfat plain yogurt (1 container)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2.5 cup white all purpose flour
1 cup Baking Chips, semi-sweet, mini (6 ounces weight)


Directions
1 Place oats in a shallow baking pan. Bake in a 375 degree F oven about 10 minutes or until toasted, stirring once.
2 Place toasted oats in a food processor bowl or blender container. Cover and process or blend until ground; set aside.
3 In a large mixing bowl, beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
4 Add brown sugar, baking soda, and salt. Beat until combined.
5 Beat in yogurt, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
6 Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer.
7 Using a wooden spoon, stir in the oats and any remaining flour.
8 Stir in chocolate pieces.
9 Drop dough by rounded teaspoons 2-inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
10 Bake in the 375 degree F oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until bottoms are browned. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
