Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 13x9x2 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2 Prepare brownie mix according to directions on package, and add 1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract.
3 Pour batter onto prepared pan, and bake according to directions on package. Try not to over bake. Take out of oven, and let cool completely to the room temperature.
4 Use a mixing bowl and beat together the cream cheese, 1 tablespoon margarine, confectioner's sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract until it is smooth. Add a few drops of green food coloring while mixing.
5 Spread on the baked brownie layers.
6 In a small bowl, combine the remaining 2 tablespoons margarine, cocoa, and the water. Spread very carefully over the cream cheese layer and let cool. Cut into squares.
