Ingredients
2 large whole wheat pitas
2 Vegetarian Meat, sausage, light, frozen , slice into 1/4-inch pieces
2 oz small green bell peppers , finely chopped (equal to 1/4 cup)
1 fresh plum tomatoes , finely chopped
0.25 cup fresh chopped green onion
0.25 tsp hot red pepper flakes (optional)
1 cup Cheese, cheddar, fat free, shredded


Directions
1 Preheat the oven to 475 degrees.
2 Carefully slice each pita open in half so that it forms 2 thin rounds.
3 Set the pitas on a baking sheet. Top with the patties, bell pepper, tomato, green onion, red pepper flakes, and cheese in that exact order and bake for approximately 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
