Servings
Ingredients
0.5 cup cold water
1 tsp cornstarch
0.25 cup white wine vinegar (or champagne)
2 tbsp olive oil
0.5 tsp ground oregano
0.5 tsp salt
0.12 tsp black pepper

Directions
1 Whisk together water and cornstarch in a pot and heat over medium-high heat; cook for 1 minute, stirring continually.
2 Take pot off of heat and mix in champagne vinegar, oil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Pour into a bowl and wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to use.
Additional Information
Try using red wine, balsamic, or rice wine vinegar as a substitute for champagne or white wine vinegar or vegetable or chicken broth instead of water or any fresh herbs in place of oregano.
