Ingredients

Directions
1 Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F, and lightly spray an 8-inch round cake pan with vegetable oil spray.
2 Combine 1 cup flour, baking powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
3 Using a pasty blender or fork, cut in the margarine until it is in small pieces throughout the flour mixture.
4 Using a fork, stir the buttermilk and yogurt into the flour mixture until just moistened.
5 Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured board; then sprinkle the dough with a small amount of flour and shape into a disk.
6 Pat out the dough until it is about ½ inch thick using your hands or a rolling pin; then cut out the biscuits with a 2½-inch round cutter.
7 Place the biscuits in the prepared cake pan; then bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the biscuits are done through the middle and golden-brown on the bottom.
8 Remove from the pan, and serve warm.
Additional Information
A bit of honey instead of margarine works very well with these fluffy biscuits.
