Ingredients
1 Chicken, broiler/fryer, whole, with skin, raw
0.5 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onions , thinly sliced
0.25 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp crushed garlic
0.5 tbsp unsalted tomato paste
0.5 tsp garam masala
1 tsp curry powder
0.25 tsp celery salt
0.25 tsp salt
0.25 cup cold water


Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2 Place the chicken into a 2 quart covered baking dish or dutch oven with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and olive oil.
3 Bake for 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and appears brown.
4 Add the onion, pepper, garlic, tomato paste, garam masala, curry powder, celery salt, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
5 Mix all together, then add 1/4 cup water for the ingredients to steam.
6 Return to the oven for 5 more minutes to blend all the flavors.
Additional Information
Serve over rice or eat plain. Serve with roti or naan.
