1 In a large saucepan boil chicken broth. Add rice, carrot, celery, salt, red pepper and garlic to the pan.
2 Cover mixture and simmer at a lower heat setting for 50 to 55 minutes until rice absorbs the broth. Mix in almonds and green onions.
