4 cup fresh broccoli florets (1 pound)
1 tbsp olive oil
0.5 pinch fresh lemon peel , grated
0.25 tsp salt
0.25 tsp black pepper
1 medium garlic cloves , minced
1 medium lemons , cut in wedges (optional)


Directions
1 Place a steamer basket in a large saucepan. Add enough water to come just below bottom of basket.
2 Bring to boiling. Place broccoli in steamer basket. Cover and steam for 5 to 6 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
3 In the meantime, combine in a large serving bowl the olive oil, lemon zest, salt, pepper and garlic. Add broccoli, toss to coat. Garnish with lemon wedges (optional).
Additional Information
This side dish pairs wonderfully with roast pork tenderloin.
