Ingredients
0.5 cup light mayonnaise , reduced-fat
2 scallions , chopped
2 tbsp chopped parsley , fresh
4 tsp distilled white vinegar
2 tsp capers , drained and chopped
2 tsp stoneground mustard , coarse-grained
2 tsp paprika
1.5 tsp ground oregano
1.5 tsp ground thyme
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground cayenne (red pepper)
0.5 tsp salt
1.5 lb tuna steaks , cut into 4 pieces
2 tsp canola oil


Directions
1 Whisk together mayonnaise, scallions, parsley, vinegar, capers, and mustard.
2 Combine paprika, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, cayenne, and salt. Season both sides of tuna with mixture.
3 Pour oil in a frying pan and heat over medium heat until oil begins to smoke. Cook tuna 2 minutes per side until it is medium-rare. Serve steaks with sauce on the side.
